What is Church All About?
Church is all about meeting together with other believers to worship our Lord, to encourage and support one another and to receive Biblical teaching on matters of life and faith - in order to go out and tell others 'the Good News' and serve our communities. We do this by meeting together on Sunday, during the week through home groups, developing individual friendships and through community involvement. We encourage participation rather than perfection.
What Should I Expect?
Sunday Services:
-
Services are usually around 90mins in length.
-
Services usually begin with 30-40 minutes of singing, often with congregational participation in an open prayer time or sharing. Notices are also read out and a free-will offering plate is passed around although many members give by direct credit.
-
A children's programme (primary to intermediate age) and creche operates from the end of the worship time and during the message. Children are encouraged to all come and sit at the front as the special "Good Morning!" song plays and their programme is introduced. Creche children need to be signed in and out.
-
Message/sermon.
-
Communion is held once a month.
-
You are most welcome to join us for a cuppa at the conclusion of the service.
