Pastor Greg is a practical, down to earth person, with a love for God and family. He has a keen sense of humour, and a friendly, caring disposition. Diane and Greg celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary in 2019, they have five married children and 13 grandchildren.
After leaving school, Greg went farming and eventually he and Diane bought their own dairy farm in Maungaturoto where they farmed for ten years. Feeling a call to mission, they sold up, expecting the Lord to lead them overseas, but instead were asked to act as assistant Pastors of the local Church and oversee the attached Christian School. They spent 16 years in Pastoral ministry at Maungaturoto Congregational Church, Greg becoming Associate Pastor, then Senior Pastor. While there Greg spent six years on the Board of the World Council for Mission, as the representative for the Congregational Union of New Zealand. He was instrumental in facilitating their ministry to Children program.
Greg was employed as the Pastor of Kamo Baptist Church in 2010. Diane is part of the Management team at Arataki Ministries, a community mental Health Provider.
When they can, they both enjoy fishing, and spending time with family and grandchildren. They both have a passion to see the next generation equipped and ready to overtake them in faith and exploits. They look forward to meeting you!
